On the 17th and 18th of September, 2007, BIT Peru 2007 Luxury Collection and Incentives was held at the JW Marriott Hotel Lima. It was the 7th edition of the Bolsa Iberoamericana de Turismo, and the first event in South America aimed at promoting luxury and incentive tourism among international buyers.

This year, the event will be held the 15th and 16th of September, in hopes of strengthening the work completed to date, and increasing the number of participants. In addition, a site inspection is planned for some of Lima’s top luxury hotels, as well as a gastronomic tour of some of the best Peruvian restaurants. BIT Peru was, for six years, the only Peruvian tourism event listed on the Calendar of International Tourism Events of the WTO.
